A recommendation to pause filling positions under the current budget until the end of June with exceptions was proposed by Commissioner Gary Richardson during today's workshop.

A motion to have a hiring pause until the budget is finalized at the end of June, with exceptions of any currently approved Personnel Requisitions that have been posted, and exceptions granted by the board for directors who bring in PRs to be filled case by case was approved 3-0.

The board moved other decisions on their workshop agenda to next week's Weekly Business Session, save for business from the Public Works Department.

A Fish Hatchery Road Guardrail Replacement Estimate, Bearcat Manufacturing Quote, a Sheriff's Office vehicle replacement, and a Public Works Fuel Station Clean Up Proposal was presented by Public Works to the board. Motions to approve all items passed unanimously.

Also approved without objection was a travel request by Community Development. The board heard a request from Information Technology to replace the old back up system with new hardware. The item was moved to next week's consent calendar, as well as a Community Development item for Rose Butte LLC Findings of Fact and Decision.

The board moved all Airport Requests to next week's Session, including a Board order for the Delegation of Signing Authority to the Interim Airports Manager, an Illinois Valley Airport Contract Award, and a Federal Aviation Administration Agreement.

Human Resources Personnel Requisitions were signed by the board, with Personnel Actions being signed by all except Richardson. During Board Business, an Advisory Committee Application was approved 2-0 with Richardson abstaining due to a conflict of interest. The Board Meeting Schedules item was moved to next week's Session.
