This week we are proud to recognize Hidden Valley High School junior, Lawson O'Leary.
Lawson O'Leary just completed his sophomore year at Hidden Valley High School and is an integral part of the Mustang baseball team and played this summer with the Grants Pass Nuggets baseball team, performing as a pitcher and shortstop. Lawson, displaying a high baseball I.Q., has five pitches he uses to challenge hitters with remarkable success. At shortstop, Lawson's mobility (either to his right or left) serves him well. While at the plate Lawson was hitting above .400 for the Nuggets. Although just going into his Junior year, Lawson has his sites set on a Junior college in Georgia, where he can also be a Mustang, to play ball and study biology and history. Lawson credits his father, God, and his coaches for his baseball success.
